| Description | Job Order, a scope of work conference may be scheduled to define design and construction services required of the contractor. It is the responsibility of the JOC contractor to provide cost estimating and project scheduling for design and construction for specific project scopes. Citywide Mechanical Construction Job Order Contracting work may include, but is not limited to: 1. Construction and/or installation of HVAC systems and energy management systems 2. Installation of Ultraviolet (UV) and ionization systems. 3. Required electrical services for complete mechanical construction 4. Construction and/or installation of chilled water systems; fluid coolers and cooling towers 5. Construction management 6. Ability to perform or subcontract Test and Balance services including duct detector and smoke/fire damper certification 7. Maintenance and repair of all types of HVAC systems, exhaust systems, piping for both above and below ground systems, component replacement 8. Evaporative Cooling Systems 9. Compressed air systems 10. Refrigerant exhaust and notification systems 11. Installation and repair of alternative tower treatment systems 12. Boiler, water heater and heating hot water piping systems 13. Perform or ability to subcontract duct fabrication, installation and repair. 14. Required Electrical services for complete plumbing installation as needed 15. Domestic hot water systems including pipe replacement, repair of cold and hot water supply, waste piping and storm drain piping systems 16. Water heater service, installation and replacement 17. Plumbing fixture service, installation and replacement 18. Construction management 19. Test and Balance of domestic hot water recirculation systems 20. Maintenance and repair of all types of plumbing systems, piping for both above and below ground systems, component replacement 21. Compressed air systems 22. Drain cleaning and hydro-jetting services 23. Grease trap cleaning, installation and replacement services. |
