Description

Old Coast Guard Road in Hawi, Hawaii Island, is an approximately 1-mile asphalt road. The intent of this project is to install one road sign at three different access points to Coast Guard property on and around Old Coast Guard Road, for a total of three signs. The contractor is to provide the following services. 1. Install three road signs at the entrances to Coast Guard property at Upolu Point. Signs shall be installed on the right side of the roads facing drivers as they drive into the CG property. Signs shall be aluminum and retroflective. Signs shall conform to the MUTCD. (a) One sign shall be installed in each of the following locations: (i) 20o 14' 15.4583" N, 155o 52' 6.0474" W (ii) 20o 14' 41.8189" N, 155o 53' 10.8006" W (iii) 20o 14' 49.1298" N, 155o 52' 58.9321" W (iv) See Attachment (1) for reference.
