Repair Exterior & Replace Roof - Melville Library

The State University Construction Fund is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide design and construction services for the roof replacement on Melville Library. The work will involve removal of existing EPDM roof materials. The replacement will be a built-up roof. New skylights and roof drains will be required. Restoration/rebuilding of the existing masonry parapet and replacement of window lintels will be required. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: 04/22/2024 The deadline to submit questions is April 17, 2023. A consultant is required to provide full design and construction administration services for the roof replacement on Melville Library. The work will involve removal of existing EPDM roof materials. The replacement will be a built-up roof. New skylights and roof drains will be required. Restoration/rebuilding of the existing masonry parapet and replacement of window lintels will be required. The construction value is estimated at $9,500,000.
