Jail Elevators Replacement J1 and J2 for Ocean County

No definite date for the rebid.** The purpose of this bid package is to provide the County of Ocean with a Contractor who will perform the work specified herein. Work includes the complete replacement of jail elevators J1 & J2. Elevator replacement to be done in phases, as one elevator must be operational at all times. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and P.L. 1975 C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.) regarding equal employment opportunities and with the requirements of P.L. 1977 C.33 regarding corporate and/or partnership ownership. Question Submission Deadline:April 5, 2023, 5:00pm Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be supplied in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, but not in excess of $20,000.00. E-bonds through Surety2000 are also acceptable. See Vendor Questionnaire for additional information regarding e-bonds. Project Schedule: Project to be completed within 364 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Project to have a Liquidating Damage Clause of 500.00 per day after date of Contract completion. Project to start on or about May 2023. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved in accordance with applicable law.
