Description

1. The paved road surface is 22’ wide, 11’ each lane, 2” deep using 19 mm base asphalt and/or a topcoat of 12.5 mm finish asphalt for a minimum total of at least 1000 tons. 2. Each layer will be rolled and compacted separately. 3. All asphalt driveway aprons will be cut back a minimum of 4’ and repaved to the finished road edge. All gravel driveways will be cut back a minimum of 4’ and finished with reclaimed asphalt and compacted. 4. Road aprons at intersections will use the same two layers of asphalt material as above and make an appropriate approach.
