Water System Improvements

The Project will be constructed in seven (7) contract divisions, which are defined and outlined as follows: Division I – New 75,000 Gallon Elevated Tank: Scope of work includes the erection of a new 75,000 gallon multi-column steel elevated stor-age tank and the demolition of the existing 65,000 gallon multi-col- umn elevated storage tank. Works also includes site piping, perime-ter fence, and site restoration.Division II – Water Supply and Treatment Facility Improve-ments:Scope of work includes replacing (2) well pumps, replacing the site piping at (2) wells, replacing the induced draft aerator, modifying the existing aerator detention tank, building an addition on the existing treatment building, upgrading electrical service to the treatment plant and wells, and replacing the electrical and controls at the treatment plant. Lastly, work includes new perim-eter fencing around (2) wells, site restoration and all temporary bypass piping.Division III – Water Meter Re-placement:Scope of work includes replac-ing the existing meters for all customers. Division IV – New Emergency Generator:Scope of work includes the instal-lation of an emergency generator and automatic transfer switch at the water treatment facility, as well as site restoration. Division V – Backwash Tank Modifications: Scope of work includes the installation of a drain line from the existing backwash holding tank to the sanitary sewer system and modifying the backwash holding tank, as well as site restoration.Division VI – Well #1 Abandon-ment and Building Demolition:Scope of work includes abandon-ing Well #1 and demolishing its building, as well as site resto-ration. Division VII – New Raw Water Transmission Main:Scope of work includes the in-stallation of approximately 1,150 lineal feet of new 6” raw water transmission main from the wells to the treatment plant and site restoration.

Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Facility Fuel Piping, Facility Fuel-Storage Tanks.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Instrumentation and Control for Electrical Systems, Packaged Generator Assemblies.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Water Utility Pumping Stations, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks, Wells, Sanitary Sewerage Utilities, Sanitary Utility Sewerage Piping, Sanitary Utility Sewerage Force Mains, Sanitary Utility Sewerage Structures, Storm Drainage Utilities.
Division 44 -	Pollution and Waste Control Equipment, Water Pollution Control Equipment.
