Public Safety Building Fiber Project - PF002

This Project design shall include: Removal of all City fiber network equipment from the Morgan Falls Buildings (500); Establishment of network links from City Springs to the new Public Safety Building; Installation of a new field hub (ITS cabinet) located within the right of way (“ROW”) at the intersection of Roswell Road/SR 9 and Morgan Falls Road; Installation of a new 48 ct. SM FOC along Morgan Falls Road to the new Public Safety Building; Installation of a new 24 ct. FOC drop cable to the new Fire Station adjacent to the Public Safety Building; and A complete network design and schedule to ensure continuous network connectivity for all City staff and traffic signals/equipment. This project will provide a preliminary layout for fiber conduits between all the buildings on the Public Safety building site. Actual installation and final design shall be included The Public Safety Building project. The fiber installation and termination connecting all buildings on the Public Safety site shall be included in this design. Coordination with the City’s IT Department will be required to determine fiber count and allocation for these cables. A minimum of a 24 ct. SM FOC shall be provided between the main building and each of the satellite buildings.
