Description | Amendment 02 has been approved, updating the 18 August Site Visit time to 2:00 PM ADST within the Standar Form 1442 (Solicitation Document). This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska has a requirement for a Construction project, FTQW 19-1012 Boiler Stacks Replacment. Contractor is to provide all labor, matReplace Boiler Stacks. The purpose of this project is to design and replace four exhaust stacks for the coal-fired stoker boilers at Eielson's Central Heat and Power Plant (CHPP). All work shall all be in accordance with: This Statement of Work; All applicable UFCs; International Building Code; national, state, local building codes and standards; Federal, state and local safety and environmental laws and regulations. Performance time will be 440 calendar days. The estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NACIS code is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $39,500,000. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. This posting is a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals must be valid for 120 days. Offerors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this solicitation; all cost associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The due date and time for submission of the bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will not be available. The entire solicitation, including the specification and/or drawings, are available only on the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov. SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted on 18 August 2022 at 2:00PM AKST, participants will meet at 2310 Central Ave Bldg 2258, Eielson AFB, Alaska 99702. Each prime contractor is allowed to bring two personnel. Please submit the names of the individuals that will be in attendance to MSgt Chrissina Dural at chrissina.dural@us.af.mil AND SSgt Oliver Ancans at oliver.ancans@us.af.mil by 02:00PM AKST on 16 August 2022. No questions will be taken over the phone. Those attending the site visit must follow all COVID-19 related guidance for Eielson AFB located on the public website https://www.eielson.af.mil/coronavirus/. QUESTIONS: Any questions concerning the site conditions shall be submitted electronically via email to MSgt Chrissina Dural AND SSgt Oliver Ancans no later than 24 August 2022 at 10:00AM AKST. All questions will be answered in the form of an amendment to the solicitation and posted to SAM.gov website. Amendments answering questions and any other amendments will be posted as soon as possible after 24 August 2022. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website to obtain amendments for this solicitation. ONLY ELECTRONIC submissions will be accepted.
