2023 Electric Line Upgrades

The Project involves rebuilding approx. 5.8 miles of 1-phase 7.2kV and approx. 1.3 mile of 3-phase 7.2/12.5kV overhead distribution lines in the Bargersville Utilities service territory in Whiteland. Some of the Project lines are located along streets and alleys, however a large portion of the lines are in back yards. All materials shall be furnished by the Owner, except stone material for the stone backfilling of poles. Completion after the deadline will be subject to a $250/day penalty. Bids shall include a completed Indiana State Form 96 accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of not less than ten percent LEGALS (10%) of the maximum total amount of the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Contractor's Bond for 100% of the proposal price and a Certificate of Insurance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in bidding and bid specifications. Plans and Specifications and Contract Documents for the Project may be examined, but not purchased, at the location listed above, on or after Monday, September 11, 2023.
