Description | The Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Supply District Reserves the Right to Accept Alternate Bids in the Event the Primary Supplier is Unable to Provide Product as Specified. Potassium Permanganate Must Be Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approved. All Vendors Shall Provide Certificate of Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approvals. This Shall Be Submitted With Your Bid. The Bid Shall Be on a Bulk Basis and Material Shall Meet the Following Specifications: 3. Potassium Permanganate - free flowing grade Physical Requirements The material shall be free flowing grade, which should be able to take up to 0.7% moisture before caking. Any product delivered which does not meet the definition of free flowing in AWWA b603-93 standard will be subject to rejection. Chemical Requirements The KMnO4 content shall not be less than 97 percent by weight for the free-flowing grade. Packaging Only 25kg or 50 to 55 pound pails of product will be accepted. Packaging and shipping of potas- sium permanganate shall conform to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Net weight error shall conform to the national bu- reau of standard - shipment shall contain no less than 98 percent of the stated weight. Delivery shall be within 10 working days of notification of order. All Prices Shall Be for Bulk Quantities and Said Prices Shall Remain Constant for a Period of Three Calen- Dar Months, January 1st, 2023 Thru March 31st, 2023, Following the Acceptance of the Bids. The District Shall Not Recognize Any Modifications to the Price of the Chemicals During Quarter, Including but Not Limited to Fuel Sur- Charges and Other Charges. Invoices Received After the Third Wednesday of the Month, Will Be Paid the Following Month. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
