Description

The Regional Water Resource Agency (RWRA) is seeking the professional services of a qualified firm or individual to perform consultant services for RWRA’s Capital Improvement Projects at the POTWs as identified in RWRA’s 20-year Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Master Plan The following items are to be included in the scope of work to be completed by the Engineering Firm for this project: Phase 1: • Review current plans, reports, studies, and data of the Alternative 3 and 4 of RWRA’s Comprehensive Masterplan. • Ensure Regulatory Compliance with KDOW and EPA both for current and future conditions • Review David Hawes WWTP Analysis of Hydraulic and Treatment capacity • Produce conceptual design and probable cost calculations for Alternative 3 & 4 Page 7 of 13 • Make recommendation of which alternate to proceed with • Produce conceptual design and probable cost calculations for office expansions at David Hawes WWTP or Joseph Murphy facility • Provide schedule for phase 1 Phase 2: Based on Alternate chosen in Phase 1 -Produce plans, specifications, and bid documents for engineered improvements to: • DHP Aeration • DHP Solids – Phase 1 & 2 • DHP Nutrients • DHP Industrial Pretreatment • Panther Creek WWTP alternative, if necessary • Office space expansion at David Hawes Plant and/or Joseph Murphy Building, if necessary. -Provide bidding services, bid tabs, and recommendation to Award. -Produce an achievable schedule that aligns with the milestones listed in the Project Schedule.
