Public Works Mowing

Public Works Mowing is currently seeking a vendor for citywide mowing. Every cycle of mowing will be completed each time; designated areas not to be left uncompleted during mowing cycles. Neat and clean appearance with no clippings and/or debris left behind. Must be weed free, even and in a healthy condition. Edging clear and clean edges must be achieved each cycle, this includes tree rings, back of curbs, hardscape. All litter (trash and debris) picked up and removed from the work areas. Facilities shall be kept in an orderly a clean appearance. Trimmed trees will need to be in accordance with ISA ANSI A300 pruning standard and TCEQ requirements for city utility sites. All walkways and paths shall have an 8' clearance and roads shall have a 14' clearance. Hardscape areas in facilities shall be free of weeds and debris. It shall be clear of any obstructions and kept in an orderly fashion. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment, and Performance Bonds for 100% of amount bid, in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or ten (10%) percent of the amount of the contract, whichever is greater, but not to exceed one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount, from a Surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, within fifteen (15) days of the bid award Any questions and responses regarding the bid process, procedures, plans, or specifications submitted and posted through electronically All prices quoted shall be F.O.B. destination, The Colony, Texas.
