Wastewater Treatment Plant 1A Generator and Electrical Improvements

The project is generally located along Avenue A, 650 ft East from the intersection of Avenue A and 8th St. The project Base Bid includes the installation of a new diesel generator at the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant 1A. The work in this project includes associated electrical equipment and appurtenances required to connect the generator to the wastewater treatment plant, reinforced concrete foundation, elevated steel walkway, crushed concrete driveway, SWPPP requirements and hydromulch seeding. The project bid documents also include an Alternate Item for the installation of a new diesel generator with larger capacity to provide service for the existing wastewater treatment plant, existing utility building and existing office building. This Alternate Item will replace the Base Bid diesel generator and associated electrical equipment and appurtenances.
