North Shore Towers Courtyard Project

The Binghamton Housing Authority (BHA) is requesting bids from qualified Bidders for the proposal for drainage improvements including, change of grades,egress upgrades, site furnishings, and landscaping at 35 Exchange Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. Remove existing furnishings and store in an approved location by the Binghamton Housing Authority. Existing Gazebo shall be removed with care as it will be reinstalled on site. B. Remove all existing plant materials with care as indicated on the contract drawing C-101 and store in an approved location to be in replanting the courtyard when finished. Please note the large trees that will remain in place on the drawings and need to be protected. C. Remove and dispose of existing plant bed borders and concrete paving as shown on the drawing C-101. Care shall be taken to not damage any existing utilities. D. Partially remove existing concrete retaining walls, ramp, railings and sidewalk as shown on drawing C-101. E. Install new concrete stairs and retaining wall and railings as indicated in contract drawing. F. Install new storm water drainage and electrical utilities as indicated on the contract drawings and all new planter borders. G. Install all new concrete paving and walkways as shown on the contract drawings. H. Install new seating areas as shown, install flagpole courtyard as shown, reinstall existing gazebo and install new covered pergola seating areas as shown on contract drawings. I. Install all new planting beds/ gardens, water feature and plant materials as shown on the contract drawings. All new and existing plant materials shall be fertilized, mulched, pruned and watered according to nursery standards. J. Site work will including all earthwork, structural foundations, grading, landscaping and finishes indicated on contract drawings.
