Description

Construction Solicitation Announcement Number: NC-NT2000-22-01006 Project Title: I-Beam Install at Kings Bay Site VI The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (COOPS), Chesapeake, VA, has a requirement for a rail system to be installed at the end of the dolphin pier at Site VI on the Kings Bay Naval Facility for the purposes of collecting data via a sensor as it pertains to the current of the surrounding waters. The NAICS code for the work described below is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $39.5 Million. The project shall be completed no later than October 22, 2022 and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $250,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204(b). CLIN Description Qty Unit Total Price 0001 Diving Service for the Installation of a 41' I-beam rail system and clamping components provided by COOPS in strict accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The contractor must verify all dimensions shown in the drawings after the sensor has been installed and provide red-lined as-built drawings to COOPS with the standard set of deliverables described in the Task Order. Period of Performance: No later than 35 days upon receipt of award 1 JB $ Contract Type/Evaluation The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Quote shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor's quote. A contract issued as a result of this solicitation shall incorporate the Department of Labor Wage Determination Number GA20220087, Modification No 3, dated June 24, 2022. Offeror Instructions Each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: 1. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; 2. The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; 3. Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; 4. Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and; 5. Completed Past Performance Reference form Contractors who do not respond to items 1 through 5 may be considered non-compliant with the requirements of the solicitation and no further consideration shall be given for award. Site Visit A site visit is strongly encouraged. Quoters are strongly encouraged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves as to all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the performance of the contract, to the extent such information is reasonably obtainable.
