CUNY Brooklyn College West Quad HVAC Upgrade (Energy Performance)

Outside air (OA), return air (RA), and spill air (SA) for air handling units (AHUs) 4-1 through 4-8 will be replaced with leak-proof opposed-blade air dampers. Re adjust and re-configure actuators on chilled water and steam valves (for AHU-4-1 through AHU-4-8) to seat properly. Replace steam valve on AHU-4-3. Replace variable frequency drive (VFD) on return fan RF-4-5a serving AHU-4-5. Replace bearings on return fan RF-4-5b and replace the fan VFD. Replace bearings on the return fan RF-4-6. Provide access panels in ductwork as indicated on drawings. Replace VAV-4-9. Replace actuators, recalibrate pick-up gains for air flow, and restore VAV’s 1-3 and 1-4 to full operating condition. Repair the leak in the supply air ductwork from AHU-4-4 as indicated on drawings. Provide VFDs for AHU-4-1 supply and return fans. Provide VFDs for AHU-4-4 supply and return fans. Provide VFDs for AHU-4-8 supply and return fans. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6%
