Description | The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, parts, supplies, tools, and equipment necessary to provide scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance for all components associated with the PACS Access Control System and Video System. The contractor shall furnish all spare and replacement parts/hardware needed to service all components associated with the PACS Access Control System and Video System. Note: batteries are considered as parts/hardware for the security systems. The price of all parts/hardware used to perform all scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance shall be included in the coverage. The government will not pay for any parts/hardware provided (during either scheduled, unscheduled, preventative maintenance), by the contractor during the period of the PACS Access Control System and Video System equipment being covered. Only new standard parts/hardware (manufactured by the maker of the PACS Access Control System and Video System equipment, or equal) shall be furnished to maintain the PACS and Video equipment. The contractor will not be responsible for any pre-existing cabling prior to them being awarded the service contract, but is responsible for cabling that they install. The contractor is not responsible to replace equipment end items such as Video Cameras, NVRs, PACS, and AIPHONE security systems after all proper troubleshooting and repair steps were unable to bring the equipment end items from inoperable to operational. |
