Description | The project generally consists of performing all earthwork required to grade the playground area to proposed elevations as shown on the Grading Plan. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining all erosion control measures as shown on the Erosion Control Plans. Scope of work will also include the installation of all stormwater conveyance system structures and pipe, including underdrains, as shown on the Utility Plan. Any site restoration shall be incorporated into the various items. No separate payment will be made. For proposed pavement and poured-in-place rubber areas, contractor shall grade site to final subgrade elevation. The contractor is responsible for verifying the location of all utilities and to schedule all work involved with utilities directly. All costs related to this coordination shall be included in the various items of the proposal. The contractor shall visit the site and include all the costs for a complete project. The owner is not responsible for additional costs based on the contractors failure to properly inspect the existing conditions, field verify all dimensions, and include all costs in the bid. All excess material and construction debris will be removed from the work area. The use of photographs and/or a videotape is encouraged to document the existing field conditions of the site. The contractor shall submit product submittals to the Engineer for approval prior to the start of work. All excess earth material shall remain the property of Henderson County Parks & Recreation. Material shall be stockpiled within Jackson Park at a location determined by the owner. The above Scope of Work outlines the general items and shall not be construed as being all-inclusive. Quotes are to be submitted on the enclosed form. The price is to include all necessary items needed to complete the proposed work. |
