BGS - ANR FPR Coolidge State Park - Park Road Improvements

This project will include improvements to approximately 1.7 miles of the existing park road completed along a lower and upper segment of the roadway. Work will be completed along 4,500 feet of lower park bituminous roadway with resurfacing by milling & re-paving. Following tree removal work along the roadside, the upper park roadway bituminous surface, and trail head parking area will be reclaimed for re-use to establish, with make-up aggregate, a finished gravel roadway / parking surface. Construction of an ADA compliant parking space and access aisle with bituminous surface will also be included with the upper park road improvements, as will improvements to side road drainage ditches. Common to both upper and lower roadway work will include improvements or replacement and repair of roadway culvert crossings with re-set or replacement of associated stone headwalls, and perimeter barrier fencing system improvements at common areas. Completion of other associated work to complete the project.
