Cherry Avenune Resurfacing

Cherry Ave: In Milton Township, beginning at Hickin Road thence northerly to Cairn Hwy, approximately 20,160’. Project description: mill existing 3’ paved shoulder (approximately 3” thick) (13,414 Syd, paid for as HMA Surface, Rem), place 4E1 HMA paved shoulder (est. 2,218 tons, included in HMA, 4E1 pay item), place 4E1 scratch and wedge in various locations at an average yield of 110 lbs/syd (est. 862 tons, included in HMA, 4E1 pay item) and place 5E1 HMA top course at 220 lbs/syd (est. 6,885 tons, paid for as HMA, 5E1). Butt joints shall be constructed at each end of project by milling existing pavement (62 Syd, paid for as Pavt for Butt Joints, Rem). Approaches shall have butt joints constructed (122 Syd intersections, 274 Syd driveways, paid for as Pavt for Butt Joints, Rem), and replaced with 5E1 HMA at 220 lbs/syd (est. 305 tons, paid for as HMA Approach). One concrete driveway to be removed (est. 20 Syd, paid for as Pavt, Rem) and replaced with 5E1 (payment included in HMA Approach). All mix shall contain PG 58 -28 liquid asphalt that complies with the enclosed Antrim County Road Commission Special Provision for Acceptance of HMA Mixture on Non-Federal Aid Projects 02/09/18. All traffic control shall be in accordance with the current MMUTCD part 6.
