Description

This is not a request for a proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Performance-Based contract for Grounds Maintenance services at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida. The Contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Tyndall AFB in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance In Accordance With (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work shall comply with government and commercial standards. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with the work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force standards, instructions and commercial practices. The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a formal solicitation on or about 09 March 2023 via SAM.gov (https://sam.gov/) under the solicitation number FA481923R0003. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract with a five (5) year ordering period 01 July 2023 to 30 June 2028. This requirement is being solicited as a competitive 8(a) small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561730, Landscaping Services, applies to this acquisition. The size standard is $7.5 million. The contract award will be made based on under Best Value trade Off (FAR 15.101-1). All instructions for submitting quotes will be provided in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on SAM.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM). If necessary, register via the SAM website www.sam.gov. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by this Agency.
