Description

The contractor shall empty municipal solid waste (MSW) dumpsters based on historical and current collection data for the first 30 days of performance. Thereafter the contractor shall revert to the location and frequency sheet provided by the Government. The contractor will have a 30 day phase in period beginning after award acceptance. This is intended to allow the contractor to come into compliance with the contract. If the contractor determines they need more time, they SHALL request an extension and approval from the CO before the end of the 30 days. The contractor shall establish initial vehicle/haul routes and collection schedules upon contract award based on historical collection data. The contractor shall submit the vehicle/ haul routes and collection schedules to the Contracting Officer (CO) five (5) calendar days prior to start of contract performance. The contractor may propose adjustments to the schedule at any time, but the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and contractor shall monitor fill capacities during the first 30 days of performance and during one other period to be agreed upon during the same performance period. No changes are allowed to the schedule or vehicle/haul route without CO approval and COR coordination. Historical frequency tables are located at Attachment 1. When the contractor completes service at a location, there shall be no litter or waste on the ground within a 10-foot radius of the container. The contractor will close enclosure gates and dumpster lids upon completion of service.
