Lead Abatement at 1047 Packard Drive

Remove all existing windows. Make repairs as needed to insure the integrity of the rough opening. Work to include all necessary stop and jamb extension material. All windows to be white vinyl welded construction, having minimum 5/8" insulated air space and screens. Include all hardware and drip cap. All interior drywall returns and exterior wall repairs to be include (prime all patches). Insulate around windows prior to installing stops. Wrap and caulk all exposed exterior wood casing with aluminum coil stock (mitered seams) color to match existing. New vinyl windows to be as manufactured by Alside or pre-approved equal. Windows must have Low E,Argon fill and Energy Star rating. Central Energy Star Ratings are U-factor 0.30 solar heat gain 0.30 as of August 2002. Remove and reinstall any existing window trim. Contractor to verify measurements and verify means of egress. All windows are to be installed in accordance with local building code. If storm windows are present they must be removed.
