Engineered Wood Fiber, Salt Lake City School District

This solicitation is being issued by the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) for a five (5) year contract to provide engineered wood fiber per the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein. Any modification to this procurement effort shall be made by addendum issued by the SLCSD. Only authorized and properly issued addenda shall constitute the official binding position of the SLCSD. Anyone submitting a response to this solicitation, based on other communication or information received from sources other than through official addendum, assumes full risk including the possibility of a determination of non-responsiveness. ALL questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted in writing through this Periscope Source system. Questions submitted in any other format will not be addressed. Only answers issued through the system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the State. Please DO NOT contact SLCSD employees except the Purchasing Department during this procurement process. Doing so may result in your SOQ being rejected as non-responsive. The question and answer period ends at 7:00 A.M. on Friday, September 30, 2022. A Certificate of Compliance must accompany your bid submitted on Source. It is expected that successful bidder will deliver product that meets the specifications contained herein. Substitutions will be allowed . Product Samples: The SLCSD reserves the right to request samples in order to determine acceptability of product offered. If requested, samples must be furnished without cost to the SLCSD and shall be delivered within five (5) days after the bid opening. Failure to furnish samples may cause a bid to be rejected as non-responsive. Samples must meet all specifications in this solicitation and must be identical to what is offered and delivered under the final contract. Substitutions are not allowed. Samples will be checked as necessary by SLCSD personnel to ensure compliance with the specifications outlined herein. NOTE : The SLCSD has historically purchased about 1,500 cubic yards annually. This information is provided for vendor consideration only. The SLCSD does not guarantee any specific amount of project to be ordered over the life of the contract. A unit bid price should be entered in the item section of this solicitation. The intent of this solicitation is to award a contract as soon as practicable to after bid evaluations are completed. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code, Utah Code Annotated (UAC) 63G-6a-606 and applicable administrative rules. Contract duration: 5 years
