Sumter County Mine, Landfill and Sludge Disposal Facility Inspection Services

Services will include, but may not be limited to, the following: The scope of work to be performed by the awarded consultant may consist of, but not be limited to the following: 1. Reviewing and making recommendations upon applications for special uses, conditional uses, and operating permits for limerock mines, landfills, and sludge disposal facilities. 2. Coordination of limerock mine, landfill, and sludge disposal facility inspections with operators. 3. Inspection of limerock mine, landfill, and sludge disposal facility operations for consistency with conditions required by approvals and Operating Permits issued by Sumter County. 4. Preparation of inspection reports. 5. All other relevant assignments relating to review of limerock mine, landfill, and sludge disposal facility operations, as requested, including attendance at meetings of appointed boards and the Board of County Commissioners, as necessary.
