Description | **As of January 4,2023, project was awarded to Islandwide fencing Inc., awarded amount is $12,617.80.** Please provide us with your cost quotation to perform the work described in the attached documents. Should your quotation exceed $2,000.00, the prevailing minimum wage rate schedule shall govern for this project. For County and State funded projects, the latest wage rate schedule as issued by the State Department of Labor and Industrial Relations shall apply and for Federal funded projects the most current wage rate schedule as determined by the Secretary of Labor shall apply. In situations where both State and Federal Wage Rate apply but are in conflict, the more stringent shall prevail. I) This project is being procured pursuant to the requirements of Hawaii Administrative Rules, Title 3, Chapter 122, Subchapter 8 Small Purchases. In accordance with these rules, the County may award a contract only if the contract amount is less than $50,000.00. Should the County receive no quotations under $50,000.00, then the project will be rebid under the competitive sealed bidding requirements of Subchapter 5. Results of the request for quotations shall be made public only after award. The Department reserves the right to request additional submissions without revealing price quotations, if necessary, to assure adequate and reasonable competition. It is understood and agreed that any services to be provided in accordance with the terms of this contract may be terminated immediately, in whole or in part, upon a finding by the County or any court of competent jurisdiction that these services must be provided by public employees pursuant to Civil Service or other law. It is further understood, that should such a finding be made, the County will not be liable under this contract for any resulting damages, and such a termination will not be considered a breach of this contract. SCOPE OF WORK 2. Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the project. 3. Contractor shall repair cut chain link fabric at three (3) locations. Locations for the chain link fence repair shall be identified by the County of Hawaii Representative. 4. Contractor shall remove approximately 770 L.F. of existing tension wire from the bottom of the chain link fence along the entire perimeter of the Abandoned Vehicle Storage Lot. 5. Contractor shall install 1-5/8 O.D. bottom rail pipe and end rail clamps, as needed, along the entire 770 L.F. perimeter of the Abandoned Vehicle Storage Lot. Contractor shall tie the existing chain link fence to the install bottom railing with 14 gage galvanized steel wire ties at 24 o.c |
