Cleaning and Lining Water Mains

This Contract consists of rehabilitation of the designated water mains by mechanically cleaning and applying a cement mortar lining, in place, and the removal and replacement, as necessary, of water main pipe, valves, fittings and manholes as described in these Special Provisions and General Requirements, in the Plan Sheets and in the Bid Sheet. Additional work necessary to perform the water main work includes but is not limited to; obtaining all necessary permits, installation and maintenance of erosion control, the protection of existing utilities and excavation and installation of shoring.
