Description

The records department at Brookfield Police is requesting interested and qualified Contractors to submit sealed proposals for the supply and installation of a High Density Mobile Storage system at the Brookfield Police Department. The system must be capable of storing all the department's paper files, currently located in bulk records storage in the basement and the records department vault on the first floor. These files include more than ten years of temporary records, all permanent paper files and additional future permanent files for a projected fifteen years. Carriages should be configured to contain all formats of paper documents including legal, letter, and smaller card stock. Locking drawers for restricted access must be included. The successful bidder will be required to supply all units, fixtures, fittings and labor to install a storage system in the Police Department records room, located on the first floor of the Police Department - the dimensions are 15'6"W x 9'6"D. The design layout of the storage system will be two static shelf rows, one to the left and one to the right of four mobile carriages that must include rolling, lockable, side tab folder shelving units.
