Description

Scope of Work for Previously Painted Bladder Tanks: 1. Pressure wash with 2000 p.s.i. pressure washer to remove all chalk (tanks very heavy with failing chalk), dirt, grease, oil and any other contaminants, wire brush to remove any flaking rust. 2. Apply by brush, roller or spray first coat R,ichards Python Epoxy Mastic Primer at 160 sfpg to achieve 10 mils wet and 8 mils dry. 3. Apply by brush, roller or spray 2 coats Richards Viper Aliphatic Urethane at 350 sfpg to achieve 4.6 mils wet 2.4 mils dry per coat. 4. Follow all product manufacturer's directions, specifications and recommendations. 5. Thoroughly clean all work areas to include sweeping, mopping and wiping down all surfaces (walls, window sills, furnishing, etc.). Clean up should be performed each day prior to exiting the site. Scope of Work for Previously Painted Metal Doors: 1. Pressure wash to remove all peeling, failing paint, dirt, grease, oil and any other contaminants. 2. Allow to dry. 3. Sand with 220 grit sandpaper to create paintable surface profile. 4. Remove any dust, dirt or other contaminants. 5. Apply 2 coats Richards Excel Rust Shield 100% Acrylic DTM Gloss Enamel at 350 sfpg to achieve 4.6 mils wet and 1. 7 mils dry per coat. 6. Thoroughly clean all work areas to include sweeping, mopping and wiping down all surfaces (walls, window sills, furnishing, etc.). Clean up should be performed each day prior to exiting the site.
