Description | Restoring Living Shorelines and Reefs in Mississippi Estuaries – Big Island Living Shoreline Construction (the “Project”) This Project is being administered by MDEQ as part of the Phase IV Early Restoration Plan and Environmental Assessment prepared by the Deepwater Horizon Natural Resource Trustees in response to the April 20, 2010, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill incident. The purpose of the Project is to construct approximately 5,200 linear feet of stone breakwater and 2,800 linear feet of precast breakwater near Big Island in Back Bay of Biloxi. |
