Renovation of a municipal facility in Kingsland, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility. City of Kingsland, Georgia requests sealed competitive bids for thirteen (13) Portable Emergency Generators and one (1) fixed Generator. Contractor is to furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete installation.he contract will be awarded to the responsible, responsive bidder(s) whose submission, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to City of Kingsland - price and other factors considered. Unless otherwise specified in this RFP, City of Kingsland reserves the right to accept a bid in whole or in part, and to award by item or by group, whichever is deemed to be in the best interest of City of Kingsland when applicable. Any bidder who is in default to City of Kingsland at the time of submittal of the bid shall have that bid rejected. City of Kingsland reserves the right to clarify any contractual terms with the concurrence of the Contractor; however, any substantial nonconformity in the offer, as determined by City of Kingsland, shall be deemed non- responsive and the offer rejected. In evaluating bids, City of Kingsland shall consider the qualifications of the bidders, timeframe, cost, references and guarantees of materials and equipment. (Fixed Generator) 1. Clear, Form and Pour 6-inch Concrete Slab in proportion with Generator Size. 2. Purchase and install one (1) new fixed 90 kw 3 phase 480-volt Automatic Diesel Generator onto new slab. 3. Fuel tank unit shall be a minimum of 24-hour operation or greater capacity calculated at full load. 4. Install/Connect electrical supply line with automatic transfer switch. 5. Complete testing under load to ensure the Generator is working properly. 6. Fuel tanks shall be installed in accordance with EPA, state and City environmental/building guidelines 7. Purchase of Equipment and Installation forthis project must be completed as ofJanuary 30, 2023 or the City will charge $250 per a day (Portable Generators) 1. Purchase and deliver (10) 30KW portable generators, trailer mounted, switchable 120/208/240/480 single /three phase. Diesel Engine (EPA Tier 4 Final) o Trailer to be DOT rated with lights o Fuel tank unit shall be a minimum of 24-hour operation or greater capacity calculated at full load. o Provide 15-foot power cord to connect to a 4 pole 100-amp style 2 generator connection 2. Purchase and deliver (2) 46KW portable generators, trailer mounted, switchable 208/240/480 3 phase Diesel Engine (EPA Tier 4 Final) o Trailer to be DOT rated with lights o Fuel tank unit shall be a minimum of 24-hour operation or greater capacity calculated at full load. o Provide 15-foot power cord to connect to a 4 pole 200-amp style 2generator connection 3. Purchase and deliver (1) 60KW portable generators, trailer mounted, switchable 208/240/480 3 phase. Diesel Engine (EPA Tier 4 Final) o Trailer to be DOT rated with lights o Fuel tank unit shall be a minimum of 24-hour operation or greater capacity calculated at full load. o Provide 15-foot power cord to connect to a 4 pole 200-amp style 2generator connection
