The Contractor shall supply all material, labor, supplies, supervision, and equipment to accomplish the following Statement of Work. b. Provide the construction repair services for the roofing repairs and other items listed herein on the Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Columbia, North Carolina - Tyrrell County. c. All materials, products and components used to complete this project shall be made in the USA with documentation. The Buy American act will be strictly enforced. d. Contractor shall provide trash and restroom facilities onsite. Refuge dumpster and restroom facilities will not be provided. 2. Construction Program a. Inspect entire metal roofing system, concentrating on areas where previous leaks have occurred, and repair as necessary to eliminate leaks and extend the overall roofing system life. If possible, all repairs performed shall consist of materials and products from original roofing manufacturer. All materials shall match existing. b. Replace and repair all rotted and/or damaged timber on exterior of visitor center. Replaced timber shall match existing in all characteristics including finish, installation, type and size. c. Thoroughly clean entire exterior of visitor center with a light wash or low pressure washer. Remove all dirt, mildew, cobwebs, nests, etc. to achieve a thoroughly cleaned exterior. Contractor responsible for maintaining a catchment system in and around visitor center during cleaning for all debris, paint chips, etc. during washing and cleaning to prevent debris from falling into wetlands. d. Touch-up all areas of exterior where paint and/or stain was removed due to washing. Fully paint exposed entry roofing timber back to first double beam on underside of roof cover. Paint to match existing. e. Replace (2) missing window panes in existing clearstory window system. Glass to match existing in type and tint. f. Restore all affected areas of site from construction efforts and traffic to existing conditions or better. 3. Submittals a. All submittals shall be based on Statement of Work and are subject to Contracting Officer's Rep. (COR -: Jason Hopkins approval, per FWS Submittal form, which will be provided upon award. b. Submittals to include product, material, fasteners, finishes, warranties, Buy American Act and any item COR deems required for project completion.
