Greenville Utilities Commission is committed to the health and safety of our customers and employees. We are taking the spread of COVID-19 very seriously and continue to monitor the latest Local, State, and Federal guidance. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, or certified check drawn on a bank insured with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Savings Association Insurance Fund, payable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that a Purchase Order, if awarded, will be accepted. In lieu thereof, a Bid Bond may be submitted by the Bidder in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds executed on the forms bound herein in amounts at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price as security for the faithful performance of this Contract and as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials and equipment in connection with this Contract. Greenville Utilities Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Late bids will not be considered.
