Description | Asphalt Playground Surface Repair, 9 Boulder Hills Boulevard., Wantage, New Jersey. Scope of work shall consist of removing and repaving 4,800 square feet, remove existing asphalt and haul away, check subbase for any soft spots and/or unstable areas, install DGA stone or equivalent to subbase as needed. Grade for proper drainage, roll with vibratory roller and compact, apply 2 1/2 inch of I-5 topcoat asphalt, roll with vibratory roller and compact 2 inches, include in estimate removal and re-installation of fence and gates to access work area, include removal and disposal of concrete. Bids must include prevailing wage and awarded contractor must comply with Davis-Bacon Act. Bids will be opened and publicly read at this time. A Contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsible Bid. Bids must be submitted in standard proposal form and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the Bidder on the outside; addressed to Norwescap. Norwescap will not be responsible for late mail deliveries and no bids will be accepted after the time stipulated in the NOTICE TO BIDDERS. Norwescap reserves the right to award a contract at its sole discretion and further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, decide as to the responsibility of the bidders and make award on a lump sum basis. Bidders are required to comply with the equal opportunity provisions of New Jersey's Law Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and the regulations promulgated thereunder, N.J.A.C. 17:27-1, et seq. |
