Mt. Pleasant Public Schools - Asbestos Abatement

Sealed bids will be accepted from qualified contractors by Mount Pleasant Public Schools for the Mount Pleasant Public Schools 2023 Asbestos Abatement project. Liquidated Damages $1,000.00 per calendar day per work area. SCOPE A. This section covers the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) from the project site, as defined by the PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS. B. The ABATEMENT CONTRACTOR shall coordinate with t h e OWN ER a n d any other jobsite trades working in areas adjacent to the removal of ACMs. C. The ABATEMENT CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, permits and insurance required to complete asbestos abatement procedures as indicated in the PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS and in accordance with all applicable regulations. D. Diagrammatical drawings are provided in Appendix B to show the basic layout of the work area. Drawings are not to scale; The ABATEMENT CONTRACTOR shall verify any measurements that may be included.
