Sullivan County Stream Stabilization Program

As of April 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 25, 2023. The Sullivan County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for the Elk Grove Gravel Bar Removal and Bank Stabilization Project on West Branch Fishing Creek in Davidson Township, Sullivan County. Work shall include all materials and labor necessary for the removal of a debris pile from the stream channel and gravel bar, the removal of a gravel bar, and the installation of two (2) mudsills and two (2) single-log vane deflectors within West Branch Fishing Creek. All in-stream required work cannot commence prior to June 2, 2023, and must be completed in accordance with in-stream restrictions on West Branch Fishing Creek by October 1, 2023. This project is being supported in part, by American Rescue Plan Act funds awarded to Sullivan County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. A detailed cost breakdown of services according to the Scope of Services must be submitted with the bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Sullivan County Commissioners or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Clarification Deadline: 4/3/2023 4:00 PM The Sullivan County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
