Campus Development Construction Surveying Services

The successful Consultant will be responsible for overall coordination with C-TRAN Project Management Office (PMO) and the Owner’s Representative (OR), to perform the Construction surveys required to successfully complete the projects. The scope of services required by C-TRAN covers the entire spectrum of services that are customarily provided by professional Survey Contractors including, but not limited to: a. Staking for all property boundaries and underground utilities. b. Staking for final grading and paving including site paving, landscape walls, curb, gutter, sidewalks, planting areas. c. Establish horizontal and vertical control points at street level as needed. d. Set two (2) pairs of horizontal control lines and one (1) elevation benchmark as need. e. Provide quality control checks after piles are driven, check all points and reset if necessary. f. Foundation control will be chiseled or scribed on the slab or steel as applicable. g. Provide horizontal and vertical control at all levels of the structure. Provide three (3) elevation benchmarks at each level. h. Structural control will be set on columns or metal deck (if columns do not exist at grid line intersections). This control will be set twice. The first time will be prior to the installation of the deck edge and the second time will be after the deck is poured i. Provide a reproducible drawing indicating all horizontal and vertical control set to be used by Superintendent. This drawing shall be updated and issued as necessary. j. Coordination with all related Subcontractors (i.e. Site Utilities, Earthwork, Structural and Mass Excavation, Grading and Paving, Site Concrete, Structural Steel and Drywall). k. A minimum two (2) working day starting notice prior to date staking is needed will be given.
