Description | **As of July 25, 2022. The Project has been awarded to Aqualis for the awarded amount of $53,457.25.** This project is the first phase of a three-phase project and will enhance approximately 6,350 linear feet of Stewart Creek. The stream enhancement work for this project phase extends from State Street to Irwin Creek Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds shall be required for this project. Each bid that equals or exceeds $50,000.00 shall be accompanied by a corporate bid bond or a bid deposit of a certified or cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid for the contract. When a bid is secured by a bid deposit (certified check or cashier's check), the execution of a bid bond will not be required. When the bid security is in the form of a bid bond, that bid bond shall be executed by a corporate surety. The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulations of various Licensing Boards and M/W/SBE provisions will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. The Town of Stallings reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or technicalities, as it may deem to be in its best interest. Bidders will provide North Carolina General Contract License Number, Classification(s), and Limits in the space provided in the signature page of the bid. Bids may be held by the Town for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for reviewing bids and investigating qualifications of bidders. The itemized proposal form and Project Manual provided by the Town shall be used in its entirety. All entries including signatures shall be in ink.
