The Caf Heat Pump Replacement

Reference Number 0000332183 Colorado Mesa University is seeking bids from qualified mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors to remove and replace five heat pumps in the Caf dining area. The five heat pumps slated for replacement are 13 years old and are in various states of disrepair. Descriptions, size, model and serial numbers for each of the heat pumps is provided in the solicitaion document. Remove and replace five heat pumps that range in size from 3.5 tons to 15 tons in CMU's main campus dining facility located on the first floor of the University Center. Work will include removing, storing and re-installing ceiling tile and ceiling grid, disconnecting heat pumps from duct work, condensate piping, geo exchange piping, medium and low voltage electrical, removing and reinstalling firm alarm horns and strobes, interior lighting, fire suppression systems, speakers, and wireless access points, where necessary to provide adequate room to remove existing units and replace with new.
