Description

Site Directions: 345 Kellogg Blvd W, Saint Paul, MN 55102 Online Bidding: Available Fee for bidding online is $25.00 The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. All questions should be submitted in writing no later than 9/22/2022 to duane.kroll@state.mn.us. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Remodel and reconfigure the existing men's and women's restroom facilities on the first floor of the Minnesota History Center. Work includes providing additional plumbing fixtures, modifying of the existing HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and upgrading of the finishes. The footprint of the restrooms will be expanded by decreasing the adjacent conference room area and storage area north of the restrooms. This solicitation has been designated to be awarded to a State of Minnesota Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. ONLY responses received from Contractors that are TG/ED/VO certified through the Department of Administration, Office of Equity in Procurement, will be considered. Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, the work for at least two (2) contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 2018 for a construction remodel of similar scope. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $400,000.00 or greater. OR In lieu of Responding company's projects, Responder may provide on the form below up to two (2) qualifying projects completed by the Project Manager while employed by others which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 2018 for construction of remodeling of similar scope, and $400,000.00 or greater. The Section 00 41 73 Prime Contractor Response Form, which includes the attachments listed in the project manual table of contents, is posted within the VirtuBid area of the Portal. The Response Form must be downloaded, completed, and uploaded with the bid before it can be posted.
