WCCCD Curtis L. Ivery Downtown Campus Interior/Exterior Door Replacement Project

1. Base bid to include removal, proper disposal, supply and installation of the new Interior/Exterior Door, frames and hardware. 2. Replace all denoted Existing Exterior Doors, Frames, Hardware and Accessories Complete. 3. The new exterior and interior doors and frames shall be products of one of the listed manufactures (Ceco, Mesker, Steelcraft, Pioneer-Detroit). Door Hardware to be by Von Duprin. 4. The new interior steel frames shall be 18 gauge and exterior frames to be 16 gage. 5. Refer to drawings for the location of door and frames to be replaced, contractor to field verify all final dimensions to adhere to existing opening. 6. Contractor is responsible for providing and install all new glazing specified. 7. Contractor is responsible for providing new key and locks to newly install cylinders. 8. Electrical Power to the Automatic ADA Door Openers shall be provided by WCCCD. All installations and final electrical connections are the responsibility of the Contractor. 9. A Mortise Cylinder Lock is to be provided on all entrance doors and specified doors. 10. All work must be performed in strict accordance with applicable codes and ordinances. It is the responsibility of the contractor to familiarize themselves with the code requirements and perform all work accordingly. 11. All existing door, frames and related materials to be removed and disposed of legally. 12. Remove and reinstall existing ADA Door Opener to be fully operational. 13. Contractor is to provide their own dumpster, location for dumpster will be provided by the owner. 14. Shop Drawing and Project Manager approval of shop drawings are required for all finished materials prior to commencing work.
