| Description | Requires a Contractor to continue post-closure monitoring of a closed municipal waste landfill located on Rosencranse Road, Beach Lake, Berlin Township, Wayne County, Pennsylvania. These activities, include, but are not limited to, groundwater monitoring, condensate testing and removal, maintenance and inspection of the deactivated landfill gas (LFG) collection system, periodic manual cycling of the blower system, maintenance of drinking water treatment system for five (5) homes/businesses. For the purposes of this bid, please be aware that while the landfill gas collection system is currently passive, in the future, it may be necessary to reactivate it. Therefore, please bid on tasks E, F and G, but they will only be necessary if the LFG collection system is reactivated. The work to reactivate the system including the initial rebalancing of the well field will be reimbursed under task H. Extra Work (non-emergency). |
