Description | Repair by replacement a total of 3 air cooled chillers at various facilities. The cooling capacity of each chiller will be the same as the existing chiller it is replacing except for when the existing capacity is no longer manufactured. In those instances the next closest, adequate standard capacity will be used. Remove and properly dispose of the existing chillers. Modify the chilled water piping, electrical power supply, and control systems as necessary to accommodate the replacement chillers. Replace chilled water valves, relief valves, pressure gauges, and thermometers connected to the chilled water piping between each chiller and building envelope as well as the chilled water piping between each chiller and building envelope. If the chilled water pipes travel underground only replace the chilled water pipes above-grade. Add new chilled water storage tank for building 476. Fully integrate new chillers into existing BACnet DDC and demonstrate existing design functionality. Repair by replacement a total of 3 direct exchange (DX) split units at various facilities. The cooling capacity of the condensing units and the air-flow of the air handling units will be the same as the existing unit it is replacing except for when the existing cooling capacity or air-flow is no longer manufactured. In those instances the next closest standard cooling capacity and/or air-flow will be used. Remove and properly dispose of the existing units. Modify the duct work and electrical power supply. Fully integrate new AC systems into existing BACnet DDC and demonstrate existing design functionality. Perform air balancing for every point of air supply from each replacement air handling unit. Provide three (3) phase monitor for all new AC equipment to continuously monitor the incoming voltage and provide superior motor protection. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the attached "draft" Statement of Work (SOW). |
