Fairgrounds Pool Water Heater Replacement

Renovation of a swimming pool in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool. The project quantities includes but are not limited to the following described approximate quantities of work: SCOPE OF WORK o Demo existing Bock water heater and remove o Supply and install two Phoenix PHM (OR EQUIVALENT) 100 gallon water heaters, sealed combustion, stainless steel tank water heaters with a first hour recovery of 670 gallons, IPEX PVC common intake and exhaust venting, condensate assemblies and thermal expansion tanks. o Domestic water pipe material - copper type "M" hard tubing with sweat solder fittings and full port ball valves. o All necessary plumbing, gas, vent, and piping to be installed per Wisconsin plumbing code ALTERNATE NO. 1 o Remove the existing Powers mixing valve and dispose of. o One (1) EVT Platinum Plus electronic tempering valve with NEMA 1 enclosure with digitaldisplay, stainless steel valve body and accessories. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of (30) thirty days after the opening of said bids, without the consent of the Deputy Procurement Officer. The City of Fond du Lac may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of any reason. The failure to make a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action against the City. The City also reserves the right to waive any formalities or informalities in bidding, and to select the bid that, in its opinion, will best serve the interests of the City.
