Engineering Services - Milorganite Packaging Facility

Engineering consulting firms who have experience with building design and modifications, dense phase transport, and packaging equipment to submit sealed proposals for engineering services for the Milorganite® Packaging Facility project. The general scope of work for this engineering contract includes: Review of existing reference information. Meetings with representatives from the District and Veolia Water Milwaukee, LLC (Veolia Water). Design evaluations as outlined in the scope of work. Geotechnical investigation, including soil borings. Lead and asbestos inspection and testing. Construction strategy analysis to minimize the disruption of the operation of JIWRF during construction. Evaluations and recommendations summarized in a design report. Preparation of bid and construction documents. Engineering services during construction and delivery of record drawings. Preparation of start-up plans, updates to facility operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals, and O&M staff training. Post construction assistance by experienced personnel. Applications engineering.
