| Description | The project is the removal and replacement of window units for a portion of Buildings 62 and 63 at Western State Hospital. Base bid work shall include removal of painted wood double hung units and security screens on the north and west elevations of Building 63 (approximately 69 openings) and installation of prefinished, fixed psychiatric aluminum window units with integral blinds. Alternate bid work shall include removal of painted steel double hung units and security screens on the north elevation of Building 62 (approximately 33 openings) and installation of prefinished, fixed psychiatric aluminum window units with integral blinds. All windows will be set in pre-finished aluminum subframing members. Work shall include cleaning sealant at existing window openings and patching of all adjacent interior surfaces. |
