| Description | PROJECT DESCRIPTION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District is seeking a business capable of replacing the existing Warehouse 44 roof as well as two passageways that lead from Building 9 and Building 12. Work includes removal of the existing roof material and replacement with new material. Damaged wood substrate and insulation will be removed and replaced as needed. Existing roof mounted equipment and appurtenances will be removed and replaced to facilitate roof replacement. Deteriorated wood fascia and trim boards will also be replaced. Painting of all access ladders and pipe railings is also included. Work also includes replacement of gutters and down leaders. The design and construction shall also comply with federal environmental and energy standards. |
