Description

This public works prevailing wage rate Project (Labor Code 1720) is further detailed in the Project documents, is available only through the Vendor Portal, and has an estimated value of $13,000,000 The Project documents will govern should there be any conflict with the notice. LICENSES, DIR REGISTRATION, PREQUALIFICATIONS: Prime contractor must possess a valid CLSB A or B contractor license (Cal. Code Regs. tit. 16 830) and be registered with the DIR (Labor Code 1725.5). Prime contractor and MEP subcontractors and subcontractors holding an MEP license pursuant to PCC 20111.6 must submit prequalification application January 8, 2024 through website. Project Scope - The scope of the Project to be developed during the condition assessment and confirmed with the District during the Schematic Design Phase, is expected to include, without limitation: (a) construction of an aquatic center, including an approximate 6,000 square foot building containing team room, changing rooms/restrooms, coach's office, pool pump room, chemical storage, dry storage, pool equipment room, ticket/concessions and support areas; (b)sports lighting, scoreboard and memorial wall (c) construction of a 50 meter pool; (d) aluminum pre-fabricated bleachers for the capacity of 250 spectators with shade canopy; and (e) related site work. Coordination and phasing of demolition and reconnection of existing portables, demolition of existing pool and pool buildings, and construction of new pool and new buildings with related sitework.
