Description

Scope of Services Rancho California Water District is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, services, transportation, waste disposal, and other miscellaneous items needed to install District purchased modified bitumen roofing system materials in strict accordance with Section C (noted on Page 15) and all of the Contract Documents Liquidated Damages $500 per day Project Duration 30 days Q&A Deadline 03/15/2023 2:00 PM (PDT) SCOPE OF WORK: Rancho California Water District (District); Winchester Pump Station Location: 40450 Margarita Rd. Temecula, CA. Hot applied 2-ply asphalt roofing. A. Provide all labor, equipment, and miscellaneous material to install District furnished and purchased modified roof system over the properly prepared substrate for the District. The installer shall be financially responsible for the materials that are not supplied by the District. If additional material is required to finish the project it will be the financial responsibility of the installer to supply and install. Additional details are under section 3.09 District Supplied Materials of this specification. Roofing contractor to install roof system per City, County, and State Building Codes. B. Scope of Work: 1. Prepare roof surface for new modified roof system. Properly dispose of old roof material per State regulations. 2. Provide a line-item price for replacement of failed substrate with bid package. 3. Mechanically fasten rosin paper and base sheet, install per Wind Uplift calculations. 4. Install (1) ply of modified StressBase 80 inner ply in hot asphalt. 5. Install modified base flashing in all flashing locations in hot asphalt. 6. Install Modified Cap Sheet with Mineral surface in hot asphalt. 7. Install Pyramic Plus Lo at 1.5 gallons a square in a 2 coat process for a total of 3 gallons a square over the entire low slope roof section. 8. Install Cool Sill coating at 2.5 gal a square in waterways and drainage locations. Drainage locations to be 1 square each. 9. Drainage locations, replace all through wall scuppers with new same like and kind. 10. Install (2) Walkway Pads at the roof hatch, (1) on each side. 11. Pitch pans are to be replaced with liquid flashing and polyester. 12. Seal all coping cap joints with Tuff Stuff caulking in a 2" wide repair. 13. Contractor to submit current Certified Applicator Letter with bid package. 14. Clean up daily.
