2020 CDBG Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and WWTP Improvements

The Project consists of WWTP improvements and sanitary sewer rehabilitation. The WWTP improvements will consist of the replacement of two existing mud valves in the aeration basin, the replacement of four surface aerators, the replacement of the existing aerator motor starters with variable frequency motor controllers (VFCs) and associated electrical work. In addition, two flow monitors will be replaced within the collection system. The project also includes four additive alternates to address sanitary sewer rehabilitation. The alternates total approximately 300 linear feet (lf) of mainline rehabilitation by point repair. This project will be administered by the Southeast Tennessee Development District and is funded by Tennessee Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
